Orlando Otero was born January 28, 1986. At the young age of 5 he got his first ATV, a 1988 Honda TRX 200SX. This is the time that gave him direction on what his life journey would be. He started riding the trails of Orocovis, Puerto Rico and as his interest grew more in this sport he changed the way he looked at ATV’s. Enduro events became his favorite weekend activity, always putting education first.
His first Motocross Race was January 22, 2006 with a Lonestar Racing TRX 250R quad where he got the first place in the C Class. He loved the adrenaline rush this sport gave him that a month later he entered his second race. This time the B Class still fell short for him and his quad, so he kept winning the first place in every moto he entered. Later on, he changed to the A Class racing with some of the best in town. Also his machine was changed to a 2008 Honda TRX 450R upgraded with the best components to handle the competition.
Until this day his desire to be the best ATV Racer is in his every day thought. With the hard work and the support from his sponsors, family and friends it won’t be long until we see him with the ATV National Championship. Take a look at his race plans and be part of his dream. |
